(Booth 2776) At this year's RSNA conference, Imaging On Call (IOC) will highlight its new service to provide hospital radiology departments and imaging centers with a complete quality assurance (QA) service, including software with American College of Radiology (ACR) accreditation. The service was launched in January 2007.
Imaging On Call offers board-certified, fellowship-trained radiologists who provide overreads for various subspecialties on a weekly, monthly, or quarterly basis.
For emergent clinical problems, IOC offers preliminary reports in approximately 30 minutes from the time the study was received, and next-day turnaround for nonemergent reads. The Poughkeepsie, NY-based company provides HIPAA-compliant, printable, time-stamped reports that are sent to radiologists, emergency department physicians, and attending physicians via a secure Web site.
