(Booth 8742) Quality Nighthawk, based in San Francisco, will highlight OnePacs, an image and workflow management system designed to eliminate productivity roadblocks to facilitate efficient and integrated radiologic study acquisition, storage, communication, and reporting.
Quality Nighthawk gained access to the software through an agreement with Advanced Medical Imaging Solutions. OnePacs enables the company to perform overnight final reads and deliver reports directly into a hospital information system, as well as perform cardiac imaging requiring advanced postprocessing, even in emergency nighttime situations.
Founded in 2003, Quality Nighthawk has provided on-call preliminary interpretations, subspecialty MRI reads, and second-opinion services to alleviate workload for the company's clients. Quality Nighthawk now offers cardiac CT angiography and other advanced imaging services.
Although the company began in San Francisco, Quality Nighthawk now has a staff of accredited subspecialty radiologists located in several time zones across the U.S. Turnaround times can be customized according to the needs of each group, with particularly rapid turnaround times arranged for trauma, stroke, and other critical cases. With OnePacs, Quality Nighthawk can take advantage of continuously scaled compression technologies designed specifically for streaming DICOM data.
