(Booth 3316) Maxant Technologies of Niles, IL, will feature its MediPort 3000 Series WallStation, a compact, integrated computer and monitor, in Chicago.
MediPort 3000 Series is a wall-mounted PACS viewing station designed for radiology practitioners, IT managers, and PACS administrators. It includes a high-performance CPU with Intel Core 2 Duo processors that can be coupled with monitors ranging from 1.3-megapixel color to 3-megapixel grayscale for flexibility in display options.
The all-in-one WallStation is designed to "optimize workflow efficiencies" within the same compact footprint as standard analog viewing boxes, according to Maxant. In addition, the medical-grade MediPort 3000 is certified for all patient care areas and can be configured for diagnostic or clinical review, making it suitable for radiology quality control, ER, OR, orthopedics, or any place PACS images need to be reviewed, the company noted.
MediPort 3000 will be available in the U.S. in early 2009.
