(Booth 7632) Sorna will debut three new products, including its eXpedo 21t CD/DVD publishing system, at the 2008 RSNA meeting.
eXpedo 21t is the Eagan, MN-based firm's new highest-performance model in its line of CD/DVD publishing systems. It combines Sorna's eXpedo software with heavy-duty robotics hardware that integrates an embedded server for image acquisition, a CD/DVD burner, and a direct-to-disk thermal labeler. The custom labels are permanently printed and bonded directly to the surface of the CD or DVD, Sorna said.
Sorna also will provide medical professionals visiting its booth with Reviewer CD, a complimentary DICOM CD/DVD viewer. Reviewer CD is designed to provide a uniform viewing experience for externally created CDs and DVDs, and it runs on both Windows Vista and XP operating systems, Sorna said.
In addition, the company will note the latest release of its Reviewer DICOM software, which is designed for acquiring, viewing, storing, and merging both internally generated and imported DICOM images for CD/DVD production.
Sorna also will demonstrate its MyBabyCD software, which creates non-DICOM CDs for patients receiving prenatal ultrasound examinations. Software for patients receiving CDs of their mammograms also will be shown.
