StatVideo of Andover, MA, has introduced its EchoBox video conferencing system, a compact device and software viewer for streaming images over standard computer networks to enable real-time feedback during an imaging procedure.
The system transmits real-time, high-resolution, and high-frame rate images, including adult congenital and pediatric echocardiograms without ISDN lines, according to the Andover, MA-based vendor. EchoBox connects an imaging system to Wi-Fi, Ethernet, or 3G networks for remote viewing at any location, StatVideo said.
The EchoBox viewer is downloadable from the Web to most laptops and PCs.
