Fujifilm Medical Systems USA of Stamford, CT, has won its largest virtualization implementation to date with a contract with an Indianapolis healthcare network, the company said.
Clarian Health has replaced its legacy PACS with a Synapse system and a complete disaster recovery system, according to Fuji.
The first phase of the Clarian Heath Partners PACS project includes five hospitals and nine outpatient imaging centers in the Indianapolis metropolitan area. Fuji has replaced more than 80 legacy servers with six virtualized servers to run Synapse PACS for all of these facilities. Fujifilm has also implemented a disaster recovery plan for Clarian: The entire Synapse system can be transferred over to another data center in less than an hour, Fuji said.
