RIS/PACS vendor Brit Systems of Dallas has added new orthopedic, workflow, and image management features to PACSView, a Web-based DICOM workstation that is available via an Internet download and packaged with a go-live module that includes training and support.
The new features in release 1.3 are designed to help enhance clinical efficiency by streamlining image review and automating image distribution to physicians or Roentgen Works' pay-per-study offsite archive, according to the company.
Brit Systems is featuring the new release at this week's American Association of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS) annual meeting in New Orleans.
