PACS/RIS software developer Paxeramed of Irvine, CA, has launched new versions of its PACS and RIS software.
The company has released version 11.5 of its PaxeraView PACS software, offering improved image annotation, hanging protocol navigation with shortcut keys, support for true sizing of mammography images, and support for automatic tumor detection with computer-aided detection (CAD) software.
The new version also has improved study locking, better image cropping and measurement, and region and smart table removal. Paxeramed has also applied the Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE) mammography profile, with prior hanging protocols, pixel padding, and other tools.
In addition, the company has made improvements to its PaxeraRIS with version 5.8, which has been installed at Alfa Scan Radiology Center in Egypt.
