Interface developer Dicom Systems of San Francisco has released version 1.3.40 of its DICOM and HL7 router.
The upgrade includes support for Apple's iPad tablet computer, as well as other mobile communication devices, and extends the potential of a DICOM-driven network, according to the company.
The upgrade will enable medical professionals to receive updates on the status of studies and provides users of Dicom Systems' DCMSYS router with secure access to configuration and monitoring settings, worklists, and studies.
