Siemens Healthcare is presenting its syngo fourSight Workplace image management software as a work-in-progress at this week's American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) annual meeting in San Francisco.
fourSight Workplace features true stereoscopic views of 3D ultrasound images, according to the Malvern, PA-based vendor. Siemens has incorporated Nvidia's 3D Vision and Quadro FX professional graphics technology into Workplace, which is also based on Nvidia's Cuda architecture.
In other ACOG announcements, Siemens will release version 2.0 of its Acuson X150 compact ultrasound system. The new release features enhanced image quality and workflow, as well as new clinical features and applications such as 3-Scape real-time 3D imaging, Siemens said.
