Imaging software developer MDDX has released its Moving Pictures image communication software package.
Designed to accelerate research in cardiac CT angiography and neurovascular CT angiography and perfusion, Moving Pictures employs a proprietary software algorithm to protect patient personal health information while transferring files as large as 16 GB, the company said.
The program features drag-and-drop functionality and automatically routes cases with an unlimited number of recipients over the Internet at speeds 100% faster than FTP, according to the firm. Moving Pictures is installed at 10 locations and sends cases from India and Egypt to research laboratories in the U.S., MDDX said.
