About one-third (32%) of respondents with cardiology PACS (CPACS) said their CPACS budgets are presently managed by the cardiology department. Another 22% said that their CPACS budgets are managed by their cardiac cath labs. Most of the rest of the CPACS users said that their budgets are managed by the hospital's information technology/management information system (IT/MIS) department (16%), the hospital's radiology/diagnostic imaging department (13%), or a healthcare system-based IT/MIS department (12%).
