Healthcare IT and advanced visualization developer Merge Healthcare has named Steve Brewer as executive vice president of product solutions and Steve Martin as senior vice president of sales.
Brewer and Martin both come to the firm from healthcare IT company Allscripts, which they joined following that vendor's acquisition of Web-based care management provider ECIN in 2007. Current Merge CEO Jeff Surges was also CEO of ECIN.
In their new roles, Brewer will be responsible for Merge's product strategy, marketing, and business development teams, while Martin will lead the company's global sales efforts.
