PACS technology developer AccelaRad has added an extended Web application programming interface (API) to its SeeMyRadiology.com product.
The new interface is designed to provide secure access to all functionality and data within the site and allow third-party developers to integrate SeeMyRadiology.com's image management and sharing capabilities within their applications.
Imaging sites can also integrate the technology with other radiology management tools to share exams. The introduction was made this week at the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) annual meeting in Orlando, FL.
