Imaging services firm RadNet has signed several agreements to provide radiology services to Pioneers Memorial Healthcare District and related parties in the Imperial Valley region near San Diego.
RadNet and Pioneers have established a joint venture to build and operate a 12,000-sq-ft multimodality outpatient imaging center in 2012.
In addition, RadNet subsidiary eRad will install and support a PACS and RIS in Pioneers Memorial Hospital and in a joint-venture outpatient imaging center, while subsidiary Imaging On Call will provide subspecialty offsite radiology interpretation and after-hours teleradiology support to Pioneers Memorial Hospital and to Imperial Valley Radiology Medical Group.
The agreement includes RadNet and Pioneers working together to create a breast disease management center to include RadNet's BreastLink oncologic services.
