NEC Display Solutions of America has introduced a 21-inch, 5-megapixel (MP) medical diagnostic display, MultiSync MD215MG.
The grayscale display has a protective panel to prevent accidental damage to the screen. Its uniformity control provides accurate imaging across the screen and monitors for inconsistencies, and a built-in ambient light sensor automatically adjusts the display's brightness based on existing lighting conditions, reducing energy consumption.
The new model includes a four-way ergonomic stand, a built-in USB hub, and an internal 11.9-bit lookup table with 256 levels of gray for smooth images. MD215MG will be available in August, according to NEC.
