Cardiac technology developer St. Jude Medical has introduced VantageView, a 56-inch high-definition monitor for the electrophysiology (EP) lab.
VantageView can display up to eight video images simultaneously at four times the resolution seen in 1080p consumer monitors, eliminating the need for multiple monitors in the EP lab, according to the vendor. It can display images from mapping systems, recording systems, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, and other sources, St. Jude said.
