DR Systems said it has received a patent from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office that relates to tracking portions of 3D medical imaging.
U.S. Patent No. 7,920,152 describes a method of automatically tracking portions of a 3D medical imaging volume, such as the voxels, that have already been displayed according to user-defined display parameters.
The portions are notated, and the user is provided with information indicating what portions of the imaging volume have been displayed according to the user-defined display parameters, DR Systems said.
