PACS developer Sectra has signed a multiyear agreement with University Hospitals in Cleveland to develop new products and technologies to enhance medical imaging and remote interpretation workflow with centralized archiving.
Potential areas of collaboration include management tools for productivity and further development of the Sectra Visualization Table, a large-format medical multitouch display designed for viewing and manipulating 3D images of the human body, according to Sectra.
The pact is Sectra's first major research agreement with a U.S.-based university hospital, the firm said.
