PACS developer Sectra's board of directors has proposed that the company repay its shareholders 5 kronor (78¢ U.S.) per share, for a total of 184 million kronor ($29 million U.S.).
The proposal will be considered at a special general meeting on 22 November, the company said.
The reason for the repayment is Sectra's strong financial position. Sectra's bottom line for this financial year has been strengthened due to the sale of its Sectra MicroDose Mammography business to Philips Healthcare, according to the firm.
