Healthcare IT and advanced visualization developer Merge Healthcare announced it has appointed two new executives.
Peter Urbain has joined Merge Healthcare as its senior vice president of partner sales, and Steven Tolle has joined as senior vice president of solutions management.
Urbain comes to Merge from IBM, where his responsibilities included the company's healthcare and life sciences products in the Chicago area, covering all hardware, software, and service brands sold via all channels including business partners.
Tolle has more than 20 years of healthcare industry experience, most recently serving as senior vice president and general manager at OptumInsight (formerly Ingenix), where he led the firm's physician community business unit, which included revenue cycle and electronic health record products, according to Merge.
