Agfa HealthCare plans to introduce its expanded portfolio of cloud and managed services offerings at the RSNA 2011 meeting in Chicago.
The company will show remote management capabilities to help facilities outsource day-to-day management of their onsite Impax Data Center and Xero technology viewer and/or Impax radiology PACS.
Agfa's Managed Hosting offers full support of remote management with the addition of offsite hosting, the company said.
The company's PACS as a Service offering is designed as an all-inclusive model to provide Impax radiology PACS on a fee-per-use basis. The model includes the provision of IT infrastructure and application functions to support service-level targets and growth requirements, according to Agfa.
Agfa will also offer image archiving and viewing as a service, which allows PACS vendor-neutral, DICOM 3.0-compliant, and on-demand retrieval for medical images and reports using Impax Data Center and the Xero viewer.
