The Veterans Health Administration (VHA) National Teleradiology Program has awarded a multiyear contract to healthcare IT firm Health Level of Mountain View, CA, for comprehensive data analysis and use of its reporting platform.
The system provides users with the ability to correlate data across healthcare IT applications and act upon data analytics. Users can query an enterprise's database and visualize correlations among parameters such as staffing levels, case mix, critical cases, revenue, and seasonal patterns of utilization, Health Level said. Data can also be mined to benchmark continuous quality improvement.
The VHA National Teleradiology Program serves more than 30 Veterans Affairs medical centers throughout the U.S.
