DeJarnette Research Systems will introduce its Cross-Enterprise Document Router (xDR) at next week's 2011 RSNA meeting in Chicago.
Designed for institutions that already own a large DICOM archive for their enterprise, xDR allows routed data sharing using the company's Context Management technology, according to the vendor.
Using object routing, the vendor-neutral router can tie together an Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE)-conformant registry, a DICOM-conformant enterprise archive, and numerous PACS and information systems to enable sharing of image and report data, DeJarnette said.
In other DeJarnette news, the company announced that 19 medical facilities in North America have installed its Cross-Enterprise Document Librarian (xDL) archive-based data sharing service in 2011.
