Image-guided therapy firm Brainlab has launched VoyantLink, a cloud-based image sharing and viewing software, at the RSNA 2011 meeting in Chicago.
Users of VoyantLink can send, receive, share, and save images in a cloud-based workspace for improved clinical decision-making. The software enables effective live collaboration and offers planning applications such as digital templating, mobile applications, workflow automation, dose review, dose planning, and image fusion, according to the company.
VoyantLink streamlines existing patient exam management processes and integrates with Brainlab's advanced treatment software for control of patient data throughout the treatment cycle. In addition, the software can decrease the costs of image transfer by eliminating CDs and other manual methods, as well as virtual private networks (VPNs), Brainlab said.
