Agfa HealthCare has received an order for its Impax Data Center from San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center.
Impax Data Center is designed to collect patient imaging data from multiple specialties and covert the information into an integrated and centrally managed system. It also serves to create an image-enabled electronic health record, Agfa said.
Impax Data Center also provides redundant disaster recovery with servers housed in two separate locations.
