Software developer DatCard Systems and Fujifilm Medical Systems USA are teaming to debut an integrated system to provide clinical image and information exchange.
Expanding on the firms' decade-long reseller alliance, DatCard and Fuji have collaborated to combine DatCard's cloud-based Agilisys Adaptive Image eXchange (AIX) technology with Fuji's Synapse PACS software.
Fuji has placed DatCard's flagship PacsCube CD delivery system in approximately 700 Synapse locations worldwide since their partnership began 10 years ago. A new reseller agreement will now focus on growing this user base, as well as upgrading existing PacsCube systems to include AIX, providing a hybrid of portable media and cloud-based image sharing technology, DatCard said.
