Image compression software developer Accusoft Pegasus has introduced ImageGear Professional version 17 for Windows DLL.
The new release features full-page optical character recognition (OCR) support for more than 120 languages and the ability to create searchable compressed PDFs, according to the vendor. In addition, the software can now automatically redact confidential and sensitive information such as Social Security numbers, Accusoft Pegasus said.
