PACS vendor IMCO Technologies has introduced its IMCO-Peer Review automated peer review system.
Aimed at streamlining the peer review process required by the American College of Radiology (ACR), IMCO-Peer Review assigns overreads to qualified radiologists by subspecialty to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and integration into the performance evaluation and reappointment process, according to IMCO.
In other IMCO product news, the company has rolled out version 5.0 of its IMCO-Stat critical test results management (CTRM) software. The new release features improved workflow capabilities that allow multiple ways of creating and dispatching notifications, IMCO said.
Receivers of alerts also now have a variety of device options with which to respond to the notification. In addition, IMCO said it has added a more robust analytical report section.
