Medical image sharing firm LifeImage said it has surpassed the 100 million diagnostic image mark.
LifeImage's network volume represents 111 million images to date, and 504,000 imaging exams have been exchanged on the network, according to the firm. Fifty thousand cases have been electronically transferred among diverse hospitals, 64,000 exams have been shared among individual care providers, and 298,000 exams captured at remote facilities have been received and reviewed by local PACS and electronic medical record systems, according to the company.
