Peake Healthcare Innovations and advanced visualization firm Vital Images have announced a partnership, Peake said.
Under terms of the agreement, Peake will provide Vital Images' VitreaView universal viewer in a software-as-a-service model hosted from Peake's cloud-based PACS vendor-neutral archive. VitreaView will be accessible to clinical desktops through electronic medical records or portal integration via a PeakeSecure Care Enabler package that combines cloud archiving and cross-enterprise image sharing, according to the firm.
The partnership will enable physicians and clinicians to access large medical imaging studies almost immediately on any type of broadband connection, Peake said.
