PACS vendor ScImage has signed an agreement for healthcare information systems provider PatientKeeper to use ScImage's PICOM Web platform to make medical images available to physicians with Apple iPads.
For PatientKeeper, the partnership offers a technology to integrate images from DICOM sources, along with nonDICOM objects, from any vendor's PACS into the PatientKeeper mobile platform.
In return, ScImage adds a new distribution channel for its platform through PatientKeeper.
