Imaging contract research organization WorldCare Clinical (WCC) has introduced a 24-hour turnaround service for imaging safety reviews.
Through its affiliation with teleradiology services provider ProScan Reading Services, WCC is now offering an integrated reading service that provides comprehensive safety assessments within 24 hours of receiving scans, seven days a week. If required, the emergency reads can be delivered even faster, according to the company.
The safety assessment service includes an asynchronous upload ability to allow sites to queue up multiple images for electronic submission, integration with a Web-based viewer to enable radiologists to complete safety reviews, and automatic notifications sent to the site upon completion of the safety review.
