DeJarnette Research Systems has been awarded a seven-year contract with IT and business process outsourcing firm CGI Group to provide vendor-neutral archive (VNA) software technology for CGI's contract with University Health Network (UHN).
UHN represents a consortium of five local health integration networks and 20 healthcare facilities, representing approximately 39 sites in the greater Toronto area and central Ontario, DeJarnette said.
CGI plans to deploy and manage a shared diagnostic imaging repository, which would provide secure storage, retrieval, and viewing of diagnostic images and reports for UHN.
