Healthcare IT and advanced visualization developer Merge Healthcare has rolled out Merge Honeycomb Archive, an image archiving application within its Merge Honeycomb cloud-based platform.
Available via a software-as-a-service model, Merge Honeycomb Archive provides a long-term image storage option, according to the vendor. Images are stored securely in multiple locations and are available anywhere and at any time, Merge said.
Merge Honeycomb Archive is the second Merge Honeycomb cloud-based application. The first, Merge Honeycomb Image Sharing, allows users to upload, download, view, and share medical images.
