ClearData Networks is launching a HIPAA-compliant, cloud-based package for vendor-neutral archiving (VNA) of medical images, the company said.
ClearData will provide cloud backup and recovery, offsite storage, and disaster recovery services for medical images using HP X5000 Storage. By eliminating separate server nodes and other network infrastructure, HP X5000 Storage reduces power consumption by up to 58%, cooling requirements by 63%, and physical footprint by 50%, according to ClearData.
The company will also provide database backup services using HP StoreOnce B6200 backup, the company said.
