Imaging services firm RadNet said it has signed a deal to provide a comprehensive package of teleradiology and radiology reading services to Kern Valley Healthcare District in California.
RadNet's Imaging On Call teleradiology subsidiary will provide after-hours coverage, while RadNet's group in Bakersfield, Truxtun Radiology, will provide daytime coverage, according to the company.
The firm's technology subsidiary eRad will provide the PACS network through an application service provider/cloud-based system that allows small hospitals such as Kern Valley to back up images and reports.
