Advanced visualization and analysis software firm Claron Technology announced that it is launching a new BlackBerry 10 app for its Nil family of medical imaging viewers.
The new app capitalizes on the enhanced multimedia and multitouch functionality of the BlackBerry 10 platform, Claron said. It is compatible with BlackBerry's recently launched Z10 smartphone, as well as the upcoming Q10. The app is available as a download on the BlackBerry World storefront.
The app enables users to access a Nil viewer running on Claron's Nil Cloud or a medical facility's dedicated Nil server. It complements Claron's zero-footprint Nil Web viewer available on desktop computers, tablets, and other smartphones, the firm said.
Claron will display the app at the upcoming Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) 2013 meeting in New Orleans.
