Advanced visualization and analysis software firm Claron Technology has introduced Windows 8 support for its Nil family of universal Web image viewers at the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) meeting.
This includes the Windows 8 phone, Surface RT and professional tablets, and Windows 8 multitouch desktop applications, Claron said. Nil browsers include NilShare for referring physicians and NilRead for primary reading.
The Web-based Nil viewer allows clinicians to visualize 2D and 3D imaging studies anywhere a Web browser is available with no application download, Claron said. It is compatible with Windows, Apple, Linux, iPad, iPhone, Android, and BlackBerry, according to the firm.
