RIS/PACS vendor Medweb has launched new enhancements to its core image exchange and cloud-based archiving services.
The Medweb Exchange upgrades allow users to integrate teleradiology results into an electronic medical record (EMR) using HL7 and DICOM standards. The company's Cloud PACS service makes certified Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE)-compliant image archiving available to all sizes of medical practices, the firm said.
Medweb will demonstrate the upgrades at next week's RSNA 2013 meeting.
