Display firm Eizo has received U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) 510(k) clearance for an expansion to its large-monitor system.
The clearance covers Eizo's RadiForce LS580W monitor and LMM0802 large-monitor manager for interventional radiology and surgical suites. LS580W is a 58-inch widescreen monitor with 4K ultrahigh-definition display, while LMM0802 enables users to scale and position several source video windows according to their preferences and working conditions, according to the vendor.
The configuration allows x-ray, endoscopic, electrophysiology, and other information to be presented on a single screen, Eizo said.
