Merge Healthcare has partnered with Cisco to deliver radiology services to public hospitals in the Kingdom of Jordan through the health ministry's Jordan Health Initiative.
The new system, Cisco Service Exchange Platform (SXP), is the first service exchange cloud for radiology to be piloted in the Middle East and Africa, according to Merge. The system integrates PACS, RIS, and Cisco collaboration software.
SXP platform will provide radiology services to three Ministry of Health hospitals in Jordan: Al-Bashir Hospital in Amman, Al-Mafraq Governmental Hospital in the northeast, and Queen Rania Hospital in the south.
