Cloud-based software developer DICOM Grid has released a new educational guide to cloud-based technologies.
The e-book, titled Medical Images in the World of Trauma Transfers, is designed for medical institutions considering migrating to the cloud. It describes how new cloud technologies can save time and money while improving interoperability in trauma transfers, the company said.
The e-book covers new criteria by the American College of Surgeons (ACS), which require level I and II trauma centers to have a system in place to view radiographic images from referring hospitals, among other topics.
