PACS vendor Sectra has received a multiyear contract for its enterprise image management software suite from the City of Hope, a cancer treatment center based in Duarte, CA.
Sectra said it will provide its multidepartmental PACS and vendor-neutral archive package to handle the display, transmission, and storage of all images throughout the healthcare system, which comprises a main campus and 14 community practice sites. Deployed within the City of Hope's radiology, cardiology, breast imaging, and pathology departments, the system will enable physicians to access and share images across the entire clinical pathway, according to the vendor.
