Teleradiology Solutions and GE Healthcare have inked a partnership to provide radiology interpretation and reporting services to healthcare providers across India.
The collaboration will use GE Healthcare's medical technology and reach across India with Teleradiology Solutions' radiology workflow package, RadSpa. RadSpa allows technologists to send images to a Teleradiology Solutions team of specialized radiologists for interpretation. It also includes reporting tools such as voice dictation and recording.
The ratio between radiologists and patients in India is one radiologist per 120,000 patients, Teleradiology Solutions said. The partnership with GE will help close this gap, according to the firm.
