GE Healthcare and Partners HealthCare have unveiled a 10-year plan to collaborate on the development, validation, and integration of deep-learning technology.

The initial focus will be on developing applications to enhance clinician productivity and patient outcomes in diagnostic imaging. They will then go on to create new business models for applying artificial intelligence to healthcare and develop products for additional medical specialties such as molecular pathology, genomics, and population health.

The initiative will be conducted through the newly formed Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women's Hospital Center for Clinical Data Science.
