Richardson Electronics has sold its PACS display business to monitor distributor Double Black Imaging.
The sale includes Richardson's Imaging Systems brand of diagnostic and clinical imaging displays, which features 2-megapixel (MP), 3-MP, 5-MP, and 6-MP color and grayscale monitors, as well as the brand's calibration software.
The deal will allow Richardson's healthcare division to focus on expanding its line of CT and MR tubes and replacement parts for the diagnostic imaging market, the company said.
