Imaging software start-up Altamont Software will present its Altamont Connectivity Platform at this week's Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine (SIIM) annual meeting in Pittsburgh.
The connectivity platform is designed to serve as the foundation for a variety of image connectivity applications that will allow institutions to connect clinical images, photos, and documents to their electronic health record or enterprise imaging infrastructure, according to the company. The platform includes functions to support enterprise-level deployment, management, security, and auditing, Altamont said.
The firm is also highlighting Image Inbox, an application to help streamline the user-intensive process of manual study reconciliation for outside imaging studies. One of the applications built on its connectivity platform, Image Inbox can help users manage these outside exams and automatically update patient and study demographics, according to the vendor.
