Cloud-based software developer Ambra Health has debuted an iOS mobile app that's designed to provide healthcare providers and patients with access to all types of medical images from a connected PACS.
Users can access current and prior images in study lists without any loading time, scroll through a series, and use radiology tools such as zooming, pinching, and rotating, according to the vendor. Although images are not intended for diagnostic use, they can be securely shared within the app with other physicians, administrators, and patients, Ambra said.
It's now available for download in the App Store.
