Imaging software developer Calgary Scientific has changed its name to PureWeb and hired Barry Allen as its new president and CEO.
The new moniker is intended to reflect the company's cloud-based product line that includes the ResolutionMD mobile and web enterprise viewer for healthcare.
Allen most recently served as chairman of Zolo Ventures, a Canadian real estate brokerage firm he founded in 2012. He replaces James Henry, who was named president in January. Henry will remain as PureWeb's chief technology officer.
